The Gifted Minds Before & After School Program

The Gifted Minds offers a S.T.E.A.M ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) based Before and After School in Dallas program for youth ages 4-12.   

STEAM is the most intricate piece of our program. Our curriculum is based on the idea of educating students in five specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Our teaching styles are hands on and project based, allowing children to work together in a more hands on approach to solve real life problems. Technology is important to us. We need more African American and Hispanic coders. We have partnered with Dallas Urban League to identify engineers and system coders to mentor our youth. 

THE KICK OFF! 

Fun, exciting, and educational mornings await your child(ren) here. Your child(ren) may be dropped off starting at 6am.  Here your child will enjoy a nutritious meal and a mix of independent and group activities before heading to school. 

Team S.T.E.A.M.

The after school program will be held daily from 3pm until 6pm. 

During this time, your child(en) will spend time participating in the STEAM based computer activities.  Also, children will be included in group self awareness, building self esteem, organizational, and healthy habits activities.  Scheduled time is allotted for homework. 

A nutritional snack will be provided. 

The Gifted Minds is open for drop in care on any day that your child(ren) school is out for:

Daily Drop In Fee                  $50 daily

Weekly Break Fee                 $170 weekly

All payments are due on Fridays for the new week (payment before service is rendered).  Only cash or credit/debit cards will be accepted.  You can make payments online at www.giftedmindsfoundation.org.  When TGM opens on Monday a $20.00 per child, per day late fee will be added to all accounts that are not paid for the week.
